چکیده

Breast cancer is a type of cancer that starts in the breast tissue. Symptoms of breast cancer include a lump in the breast, a change in appearance, small skin indentations, discharge from the nipple, a sunken nipple, or red and dry skin (crusted) of the breast. In patients with metastasis, bone pain, swelling and enlargement of lymph nodes, shortness of breath or jaundice may also be seen. Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in the world. Most women who develop breast cancer are over ۵۰ years old, but younger women can also develop breast cancer. About ۱ in ۸ women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. If diagnosed in the early stages, the chances of recovery are very high. For this reason, it is very important that women regularly check their breasts for any changes and always have any changes done by a breast surgeon. In rare cases, men can also develop breast cancer.
