چکیده

Finite element models of long bones are greatly used to analyze implant designs. Experimental validation hasbeen used to interrogate the accuracy of FE models of cadaveric femurs; although convergence tests have beencarried out, no FE models of an intact human cadaveric tibia have been validated using a range of experimentalloading conditions. The aim of the current study was to create FE models of a human cadaveric tibia and testingit mechanically. Composite bones are commercially available but doing all tests on composite bones is noteasy and sometimes is impossible. Also accuracy and precision in experiences on cadaveric and compositebones are much related to tester bodies and experience conditions. in addition performing experiences Oncadaveric and composite bone needs accurate mechanical machines, therefore most scientists chosemechanical software specially Abaqus for performing all tests on bones since some years ago. In skeletonbones fractures Tibia bone has most statistics and mechanical loading tests on it has special importance inmedical engineering. Tibia has complicated geometrical shape, so usually it has been simplified in modelingwhich affected on results considerably. In this study, modeling of whole tibia bone including spongy boneand exact geometry by using human CT scan photos and validating it by comparing mechanical response oftorsion and bending with Cadaveric one that was been gotten from previously experienced have been focusedon. Conclusion is biomechanical verification the FEM modeled Tibia bone which can be helpful for futurebiomechanical tests on this bone.
