چکیده

The use of platinum-based organometallic compounds for detection of toxic heavy metal ions, such aslead, mercury, and thallium, is notable. These compounds serve as chemical sensors, capable of undergoingcolor changes when exposed to these toxic ions through chemical reactions. These alterations in color can bedetected using various analytical techniques, including nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), UV-vis andPhotoluminescence spectroscopy. Moreover, the qualitative identification of these compounds involvescolorimetric naked eye detection, indicating their interaction with the target ions
