In the present work, zeolitic imidazolate framework-۸ (ZIF-۸) was synthesized and characterized. It wasutilized as an adsorbent for the precise and sensitive determination of Co(II) ions with a novel and rapid vortexassisteddispersive solid phase microextraction from soli, vegetable juice, and water samples before theirdetermination by flame atomic absorption spectrometry.
