A simple and efficient one-pot synthesis of 2,4,6-triarylpyridine derivatives has been developed via four-component condensation reactions of aromatic aldehydes, 2-acetylnaphtalene and ammonium acetate in the absence of catalyst and solvent through Hantzsch reaction. The present approach offers several advantages such as short reaction times, high yields, simple work-up and easy purification..
