چکیده

The QRS complex is the most significant feature of the electrocardiogram (ECG). This paper introduces a novelalgorithm for detection of QRS complexes in ECG based onmatching pursuit algorithm (MPA). To recognize QRS Complexregions, time-frequency map of the ECG signal is plotted. Thenthe correct QRS regions are detected using the map. Theperformance of the algorithm is evaluated on ECG signalsrecorded in Bioinstruments Lab at Sahand University ofTechnology. The results indicate that the proposed methodachieves
