چکیده

Laser cutting is a non-contact thermal cutting process that uses high power focused light. The laser vaporizes the material and creates a very thin cut by removing it layer by layer. This technology has come a long way since its first industrial application, but the integration of lasers into textile cutting processes has only emerged recently. In comparison to conventional techniques like cutting blades or CNC, laser cutting offers several advantages. These include reduced maintenance costs and a narrower cutting line due to its non-contact nature and the ability to focus light in small dimensions. In this article, the cutting speed and depth of a multi-layer fabric with a CO۲ laser were investigated experimentally and theoretically. The experiment shows that the laser with a power of ۴۵ watts can cut ۱۰ layers of Fustian fabric at a speed of ۳۰ mm/s with the desired quality. Furthermore, an examination has been conducted on the impact of varying proportions of natural and synthetic fibers incorporated into the textile on the cutting process.
