چکیده

In last four decades natural disasters losses have been rising around the world. Natural disasters are not only more common in developing countries but also havegreater devastating impact. The increasing incidence and intensity of natural hazards and climate change have a distinct impact on the environment through the world.Disasters damage infrastructure, lifelines and critical facilities, resulting in human, financial andenvironmental losses. The increase in the cost andfrequency of disasters has huge impacts on societies, especially in developing and poor countries. This paperdiscusses the linking of natural disasters and environment in developing and poor countries. Also this discussion paper aims to address the complexity of riskin this ‗two-way system‘ between natural disasters risk and degradation environment
