چکیده

Rivers are one of the most important water resources in supplying drinking water. Studies show that offloading waste water into rivers has made them rather contaminated within the recent years. Modeling the quality of rivers' flow with the least time and cost all provided us with valuable results to study and predict the water quality in future. This current essay mulls over the changes of pollutions by QUAL2K model for Ghareh Sue River which is one of the sub-branches of Karkheh River, one of the largest rivers in Iran. At first, rivers' hydraulic indications like roughness calibrated and then were under calibration by the information in the first turn like the total phosphor and nitrogen and dissolved oxygen. Next, model validation treated by the information with the second turn. Researches on the calibration results and specially validation indicate that the amount of dissolved oxygen decreased to less than 5mg/l in the lower level of Ghareh Sue River. Moreover, the amount of nitrogen and phosphor enhanced as the result of penetrating the urban waste water and the expanded pastures' pollutants.
