چکیده

Medicinal plants create both opportunities for economic growth and challenges for environmentalprotection. This article deals with a comprehensive review between the exploitation of medicinal plantsfor commercial purposes and the necessity of environmental protection. As there is an increasing demandfor natural remedies, especially in the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industries, there is an urgentneed to develop sustainable practices that ensure the longevity of medicinal plants. Key strategies to solveeconomic benefits with environmental considerations, such as agro-farming systems, organic farmingmethods. In conclusion, the commercialization of medicinal plants offers significant economic potential,but must be pursued in a way that is attributed to and protects the environment. By adopting sustainablepractices, stakeholders can reap the commercial benefits of medicinal plant commercialization whileprotecting biodiversity, ecosystem integrity, and the livelihoods of local communities.
