Hydrogen, heralded as a clean and efficient energy carrier, has garnered considerable interest owing to itspotential in mitigating environmental concerns. Among the various methods for hydrogen production, hydride hydrolysis emerges as a particularly noteworthy approach due to its effectiveness and importance.Nanotechnology offers a promising avenue for advancing catalysts in the hydride hydrolysis process. Byleveraging nanoparticles and nanostructures, the surface area available for catalytic activity is significantlyaugmented, thereby enhancing catalytic performance. Furthermore, the incorporation of ionic liquids (ILs)into the catalytic system plays a pivotal role. ILs, functioning as active solvents, facilitate catalytic reactionsand hydrogen evolution processes. Their unique properties contribute to creating favorable reactionenvironments, enhancing interactions between catalysts and reactants, and improving overall processefficiency. Consequently, the integration of nanotechnology and ILs in catalyst design represents a cuttingedgeapproach to achieving high-quality hydrogen production with superior efficiency. This synergisticcombination holds immense promise for addressing the growing demand for clean energy solutions in asustainable manner.
