The effect of synthesis duration on the formation of Non-Stoichiometric Tungsten Oxide (W۱۸O۴۹)

چکیده

This study investigates the synthesis duration (۲۴ h and ۴۸ h) effect on the structural properties ofunique non-stoichiometric structure of tungsten oxide (W۱۸O۴۹). Oxygen-vacancy-rich W۱۸O۴۹ nanoparticleshave been successfully synthesized using a facile one-pot hydrothermal method. The properties of sampleswere characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscope (FESEM) and energydispersiveX-ray spectroscopy (EDS). Also, the growth mechanism of samples is explained. The crystallitesize of the synthesized samples increased over time increasing (from ۳۷.۲۳ nm to ۳۹.۱۷ nm). Theenhancement of synthesis duration resulted in the formation of nanorods that are thicker, longer, and stucktogether.
