Dihydropyridines are heterocyclic compounds that come in a variety of forms. It belongs to the hydrolyzed N-hetero-aromatic family of compounds. Numerous derivatives with different substituent, positioned at ۲,۶,۳,۵, and ۱,۴, are proven to occur and can be produced by cyclic synthesis, Hantzsch pyridine synthesis, decomposition type reaction. ۱,۴-DHP is a reliable agent for cure tuberculosis and it plays a key role in metabolic oxidation. They are a pharmacologically active substance and are regarded as a significant class of organic chemicals for their Ca chamber modular action. Marketed Drugs based on ۱,۴‐Dihydropyridine are used in the treatment of diseases such as cardiovascular Diseases, Infectious Diseases, Inflammatory diseases, Nervous diseases and Cancer. This review examines the types of these compounds that are used as drugs in the treatment of diseases and their synthesis methods.
