چکیده

Sustainable development is a process that envisages a desirable future for human societies in which living conditions and resource use meet human needs without harming the integrity, beauty and stability of vital systems. Sustainable development offers solutions to the structural, social and economic patterns of development in order to prevent issues such as the destruction of natural resources, the destruction of biological systems, pollution, climate change, excessive population growth, injustice and the lowering of the quality of life of present and future people. Prevent. Sustainable development is a process of using resources, directing investments, directing technological development and institutional changes, to be compatible with current and future needs. Sustainable development, which has been emphasized since the ۱۹۹۰s, is an aspect of human development in relation to the environment and future generations. The goal of human development is the cultivation of human capabilities. Sustainable development as a process, while it is necessary for improvement and progress, provides the basis for improving the situation and removing the social and cultural shortcomings of advanced societies, and should be the driving force for balanced, proportional and harmonious economic, social and cultural progress of all societies and especially countries. be developing Sustainable development tries to respond to the following five basic needs: integration of conservation and development, provision of basic human biological needs, achievement of social justice, autonomy and cultural diversity and protection of ecological unity. Hence, the focus of sustainable development is much broader than just the environment. It is also about ensuring a strong, healthy and just society. It means meeting the diverse needs of all people in existing and future societies, promoting personal well-being, social cohesion and inclusion, and creating equal opportunities. Today, due to the rapid growth of the world's population and its concentration in cities, the concept of sustainable urban development has been proposed as a fundamental component affecting the long-term vision of human societies. At the same time, considering the extensive effects of housing on urban environments and on the economic, social, and physical life of the city and its citizens, its influential role in achieving the goals of sustainable urban development is also very important. The concept of sustainable development has promoted around the world for years by taking action to implement it on a global scale. Hence, as a development paradigm, it appears in many strategic documents at every planning level. The main goal of the research is to determine whether and to what extent the idea of sustainable development manifests itself in the contemporary urban concepts.
