تاثیر نانو ذرات سلنیوم بر فراسنجه های کمی و کیفی اسپرم سگ پس از نگهداری در یخچال

چکیده
Sperm cryopreservation has become an indispensable tool in reproductive biology. However, maintaining fertility in frozen sperm is very important. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of selenium nano-particles on the storage of dog semen at ۴ ˚C during a period of ۴۸ hours. In this study, ۲۰ ejaculates were collected from ۴ mix dogs and diluted in a Tris-based diluent. Then, they were divided into ۴ parts in control and treated with ۰.۵, ۱ and ۱.۵ µg selenium nano-particles groups. Sperm parameters including evaluation of total and progressive motility sperm, motility characteristics and viability of sperm were evaluated for ۴۸ hours. The obtained results showed that in concentrations of ۱ µg [progressive sperm (۲۷.۰۳±۱.۴۸), total motility (۴۹.۴۸±۱.۲۷) and viability (۴۱.۴۰±۱.۰۳)] and ۰.۵ µg [progressive sperm (۳۰.۷۶±۱.۶۷), total motility (۵۳.۱۸±۱.۵۴) and viability (۴۳.۱۵±۱.۵۸)] of selenium nanoparticles compared to the control group, but in the concentration of ۱.۵ µg was lower than the control group (p< ۰.۰۵). As a result, the present study showed that adding selenium nanoparticles in concentrations of ۰.۱ and ۰.۵ µg to dog semen can improve the parameters of dog semen after liquid storage, but in concentrations of ۱.۵ µg it causes toxic effects and overall agitation.
