خلاصه مقاله:
A heavy-duty, pre-heater fan is designed and constructed for the Kerman Cement Company to replace the existing one, which does not meet the optimized conditions. The design parameters are the volumetric flow rate, the pressure rise, the fluid density, and the working temperature. The working fluid is hot air including suspended cement particles. The differential equations governing the flow field in the rotating impeller channels of the centrigugal fan are developed using basic principles. A computer program is written to solve these equations numerically, using MATLAB software. The results of numerical solution are presented as characteristic curves. These curves are used to select the optimized value for the geometrical parameters of the fan. The angular velocity of the motor is chosen, the dimensions of the impeller are determined, the inlet and outlet angles of the blades, and the number of blades are then calculated. The technical plot of the blades and the cusing are drawn using AUTOCAD ۱۴. The velocity diagrams at the inlet and outlet of the blades are presented and their deviation from the uniform distribution are discussed. The design method for the casing is briefly mentioned. The results are then analyzed and the effect of design parameters on the fan performance are studied
