خلاصه مقاله:
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths globally.Microarray data analysis is a useful method for classifying malignancies and makingprognostic assessments. In a recent study, In a recent study, differentially expressed genes(DEGs) were obtained from gene expression omnibus (GEO) to identify CRC-associatedgenes. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) among GSE۳۷۱۸۲ were identified, including۴۰ upregulated genes and ۱۲۸ downregulated genes.According to the study, the KyotoEncyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway (KEGG) was conducted to identify the mostsignificant in colorectal cancer (CRC). The Bile Secretion signaling pathway is an importantmetabolic pathway that plays a crucial role in the secretion of bile by the liver. AQP۸, whichwas identified as a significant gene in colorectal cancer in the study, is involved in thispathway. Specifically, AQP۸ is involved in the transport of water across the cell membrane, which is necessary for the formation and secretion of bile. Then, we created protein-proteininteraction networks of these common DEGs using STRING, which resulted in theidentification of the following ۱۰ nodes including, AQP۱, AQP۲, AQP۳, AQP۷, AQP۹,AQP۱۰, AQP۱۱, AQP۱۲a, MIP and MS۴A۱۲. In this research, bioinformatics studies wereconducted to select a biomarker for colon cancer.
