چکیده

CaO-MgO-Al۲O۳-SiO۲ glass- ceramics has suitable mechanical properties. These glassceramicswere used in some parts of rockets. In order to achive to more sinterabillity, Al۲O۳nanoparticles were used as reinforcement.CaO-MgO-Al۲O۳-SiO۲glass-ceramics containing Cr۲O۳, TiO۲ and Fe۲O۳ as nucleation agentwere prepared using conventional melting Of batch powders, quenching the molten glassin water and crystallization of sintered glass powder. Alumina nanoparticles were used asreinforcement. Alumina nanoparticles were used in ۵,۱۰,۱۵& ۲۰ %wt values that were preparedin a solution environment. Composites prepared by sintering and crystallization. Sinterabillitywere measured via measuring relative density, Linear shrinkage and water absorption percent.Crystalline phases were introduced by XRD. X-ray diffraction patterns introduced twocrystalline phases, Diopside and Akermanite as two main crystallized phases of sinteredglass-ceramics. Microstructures were studied by Secondary electron Microscopy. Glassceramicswith ۵%wt Al۲O۳ nanoparticles had maximum relative density=۸۹% and maximumlinear shrinkage=۱۴.۱۸%, was compared with Glass-ceramic. measured porosities in thecomposites were zero.
