Comparing the Effectiveness of Transactional Analysis and Self-Encouragement Training on the Resilience and Job Stress of Kangan City Nurses

چکیده

Introduction: Nursing is one of the hard jobs that is always exposed to injuries caused by stress. Purpose: The present study was conducted with the aim of comparing the effectiveness of Transactional analysis and self-encouragement training on the resilience and job stress of Kangan city nurses. Research method: This research was a semi-experimental study with pre-test, post-test and control groups. Of the busy nurses in the spring of ۲۰۲۳, a sample of ۴۵ people was selected in the work of Imam Khomeini (RA) Hospital in Kangan city were randomly divided into two experimental groups and one control group. Data collection tools were Conor and Davidson resilience questionnaire and occupational stress questionnaire of the Health and Safety Institute of England. The first experimental group, Transactional analysis training and the second experimental group received self-encouragement training during ۱۰ sessions of ۹۰ minutes, and the control group did not receive any interference was put on the waiting list. Results: The analysis of the obtained data, through using the covariance test showed that there is a significant difference between the two groups. There was an experiment of interaction analysis training and self-encouragement training on resilience and job stress scores, and both approaches have been effective on resilience and job stress of nurses. Also, the results of Bon Ferroni's test showed that self-encouragement training had a far greater effect than other treatments on resilience and job stress. Conclusion: Self-encouragement and Transactional analysis training programs for nurses can strengthen resilience and reduce their job stress and improve their performance
