Comparing the Effectiveness of Writing Therapy and Mental Imagery on Perfectionism and Self-esteem of Housewives in Shiraz City

چکیده
The present study aims to investigate and compare the effectiveness of therapeutic writing and mental imagery on perfectionism and self-esteem housewives of Shiraz city were conducted. The research is a quasi-experimental study with random selection and assignment the subjects were in two experimental groups and one control group with pre-test and post-test, during which ۴۵ housewives of Shiraz city had applied in ۲۰۲۳ they were selected by available sampling and randomly replaced in groups of ۱۵ people. The first experimental group received writing therapy interventions for ۸ sessions of ۶۰ minutes, and the second experimental group received mental imagery techniques for ۹ sessions of ۶۰ minutes, but the control group did not receive any intervention during this period. Groups using questionnaires Hill et al.'s perfectionism (۲۰۰۴) and Cooper Smith's (۱۹۶۷) self-esteem questionnaire were evaluated. The data were analyzed using the statistical test of Covariance. The results showed that both writing therapy and both mental imagery is effective on perfectionism and self-esteem. Also, the results showed that mental imagery has a greater impact on perfectionism and self-esteem than writing therapy.کلیدواژه ها
