In recent decades, the fossil fuels have engendered climate changes and environmentalpollution. Energy conversion and storage devices with low cost, high-efficiency and environmentfriendlyreplaced the immoderate traditional energy [۱,۲]. Additionally, metal chalcogenide havebeen used as an electrode materials for supercapacitor applications[۳]. Zinc cobalttelluride@nickel cobalt selenide were prepared by two step hydrothermal and electrodepositionmethod. Zinc cobalt telluride@nickel cobalt selenide electrode achieved highest specificcapacitance of ۸۰۰ F g-۱ at ۲ A g-۱ current density. As fabricated electrode exhibited the retentionof ۹۳.۵% after ۵۰۰۰ GCD cycles, confirmed the good stability and reversibility. An asymmetricdevice showed a high energy (۵۵ W h kg−۱) and power density (۵۶۰ W kg−۱)
