چکیده

In this paper voltage and reactive power control in presence of non-linear loads by means of existingcontrol devices are presented. These optimal existing control devices are on-load tap changer (OLTC), shuntsubstation capacitors, and shunt feeder capacitors. In this study one of the voltage and reactive power controlmethods in distribution systems considering operational and control constraints, is procured based on daily loadprofile forecasting. The objective function includes optimization of active power losses, voltage deviation insubstation secondary bus, number of daily OLTC and capacitors operation, the mean of voltage deviation in allbuses of system. This problem is solved using binary genetic algorithm optimization. In order to simplify thecontrol, a method based on time interval is used for determining the tap and capacitors position in each timeinterval. The simulation is done by linking MATLAB R2010a and DIgSILENT 14.0.515 softwares and is applied toIEEE 30-bus standard distribution system and a feeder in Bardsir region of Kerman province.
