خلاصه مقاله:
The purpose of optimal reconfiguration of adistribution network is a matter of finding the best topology ofthe network to achieve the considered goals. This paper presentsan algorithm for optimal reconfiguration of distributionnetworks using Binary Genetic Algorithm (BGA) based onGraph Theory (GT) as a multi-objective optimization problem. The objective function considers the real power losses, and thenetwork voltage deviation index. Also, lines and transformersloading limits are considered as constraints in the optimizationproblem. To assess the capabilities of the proposed approach, two networks are studied: the IEEE 33-bus distribution networkas a small grid and Bardsir regional medium voltagedistribution network as a large–scale grid. Simulation resultsshow both voltage profile improvement and loss reductioncompared to the situation before the reconfiguration. Thealgorithm is implemented in MATLAB software and thenevaluated by DIgSILENT Power Facrory14.0.515 software
