چکیده

Objective: Evaluation of the effect of ۸ weeks of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) on the serum level of cardiac troponin T (cTnT) in sedentary obese young men. Materials and Methods: Thirty sedentary men were randomly divided into ۳ groups: the ۳۰s HIIT training group (n=۱۰), the ۶۰s training group (n=۱۰), and the control group (no exercise) (n=۱۰). Interval training with ۹۰ %VO۲peak was done in ۳ sessions for ۸ weeks. cTnT was measured ۵ times; pre-exercise, ۴hrs, and ۲۴hrs after the first session (۴hF, ۲۴hF), and ۴hrs and ۲۴hrs after the last training session (۴hL, ۲۴hL). ANOVA with repeated measures and Bonferroni post-hoc tests were used by SPSS ۲۳ with a significance level of (P< ۰.۰۵). Results: The significant increase in serum levels of cTnT in the post-tests of the ۶۰s HIIT compared to the first ۲۴hrs and the last ۲۴hrs (P= ۰.۰۰۰۱). But in the ۳۰s group it was not significant compared to the other measurements (P≥ ۰/۰۵). In the ۲ training groups, serum levels of cTnT in the last ۴hr post-tests of the last week were not significantly different from the ۴hrs post-tests of the first week (P≥ ۰.۰۵). Conclusion: It seems that none of these activities cause heart damage sustained, and changes in cTnT levels in two ۴hrs compared to the first and last ۲۴hrs of the ۶۰s group may be due to reversible leakage of cardiac cell membranes, and may continuous exercise will reduce this reduction.
