چکیده
Introduction: Acute respiratory infection (ARI) is a severe infection that affects a person's respiratory system and causes breathing problems. Coronaviridae is one of the viral families that cause respiratory infections in birds and mammals. The efficiency of vaccination against COVID-۱۹ infection is undeniable so this study is designed to evaluate the symptoms of SARS-CoV-۲ in people who participated in vaccination by four doses of the Sinopharm vaccine. Methods: This study evaluated prevalence and severity of COVID-۱۹ infection in vaccinated persons with four doses of Sinopharm vaccine. All samples were collected from patients with respiratory symptoms who were referred to Besat hospital, Tehran, Iran. Result: From ۲۹۰ patients with respiratory symptoms, ۱۰۹ patients were positive for COVID-۱۹ infection with a history of four doses of Sinopharm vaccine and the most common clinical symptom of infection were cough, runny nose, and fever but the hospitalization rate was very low.Conclusion: Although vaccination can’t prevent getting infected with some respiratory viruses including SARS-CoV-۲, but against COVID-۱۹ infection seems beneficial in reducing symptoms and hospitalization rate, especially if they have received a fourth booster dose.کلیدواژه ها
