The shift to online learning has presented new challenges for language teachers, particularly in providing feedback. This article, as a review atricle, explores effective ways to provide feedback to students in an online English learning environment. In addition the present article, in a review format, highlights the importance of feedback in the learning process and identifies common challenges that teachers may face during teaching process. Strategies for providing effective feedback are presented, including the use of rubrics, audio feedback, peer feedback, goal-setting, and timely feedback. The article also identifies online tools and resources that can be used to facilitate feedback in an online learning environment. By using these strategies, teachers can help students to become more confident and proficient learners and achieve their language learning goals.
