Methods: This study was a cross-sectional one conducted on ۱۵۳ nulliparous pregnant women referring to health centers in Minoodasht city who were selected through convenience sampling method in ۲۰۱۳-۲۰۱۴. The data were collected using a researcher-made questionnaire with ۴ sections. Data were analyzed by SPSS software ۱۹, descriptive and analytical statistics, indices of persion, and Spearman and ANOVA tests(p <۰. ۰۵). The individuals' participation was also voluntary and with informed consent. Results: The mean age of pregnant women was ۲۲. ۲ ± ۴.۷۱ years. ۶۵.۵% intended to have vaginal delivery and ۲۸.۱% intended to have Cesarean delivery. There was a significant relationship between intention to choose the Method of delivery and the construct of perceived benefits (p <۰.۰۰۱) and perceived barriers (p <۰.۰۰۱). Also, there was a significant relationship between different social classes, the construct of perceived barriers (p <۰.۰۰۱) and behavioral intention (p <۰.۰۰۱.Conclusion: The mothers' intention can be influenced by increasing the perceived benefits and reducing the perceived barriers.
