چکیده

Statement of the Problem:What has been discussed and focused in this research includes the meanings arising from the type of visual elements used in this movie poster. The details, special proportions and characteristics of these elements are very interesting.Objectives of the Study:This research aims to achieve a specific context by studying the visual elements of this poster and the artistic features in the spatial and physical structure, which have been examined and compiled in terms of surface, shape, and volume with visual appeal and impressive characteristics..Questions of the Study:This article aimed to answer the following questions:- What is the message of the visual elements used in this poster?- How did the movie poster contribute to the commercial success of the movie?Method of the study:The current research is done in a descriptive-analytical method, and data has been collected based on library, internet and field study.Conclusion:The poster of the movie "Silence of the Lambs" is a preview of the movie (Trailer) and announcement of excitement and fear (Thriller) which has these two factors together. The introduction of the genre, theme and appropriate placement of the main and secondary visual elements of the film next to each other is one of the strengths of this work of art.The creator of the work sought to create a sense of curiosity and questioning in the mind of the viewer as an audience, and to some extent determines the commercial success of the film in this way.
