The faunistic survey of leafhoppers (Hem.: Cicadellidae) in the most important vineyards of Khorasan Razavi Province

The single most successful order of Phytoplasma vectors is the Hemiptera. In this order leafhoppers(Cicadellidae) are the most important family that transfers the disease from the infected plants to the healthyones while feeding from the phloem tissue. Regarding the detection of phytoplasma diseases in the grapvineof Kashmar and Bardaskan regions of Khorasan Razavi Province and the importance of grape production inthese areas, this study was carried out during years 2008-2009. Sampling was done monthly by circularsweep net, aspirator and yellow sticky trap.
