چکیده
Introduction: Injuries caused by acute burns followed by debridement, surgery, and repeated dressings areassociated with severe pain and anxiety. The purpose of this interventional clinical study is to investigate thespray effect of Lidocaine Hydrochloride ۲% solution on the wound site on pain and anxiety. Methods: This study was performed by random sampling of ۱۶۸ patients of both sexes who are within the agerange of ۲۰-۴۰ years, with acute burns of grades ۲b and ۳ covering ۱۵-۲۰% of their body. LidocaineHydrochloride ۲% solution was sprayed on the margin and center of the wounds in both groups. The painscores were measured by the VAS instrument and anxiety levels by the RASS questionnaire. Blood pressureand heart rate were measured during the first hour after the intervention at minutes ۰-۳-۱۰, and then, by ۱۰-minute intervals. Results: The mean pain score, systolic blood pressure, and heart rate ۱۰ to ۶۰ minutes after the interventionwere significantly lower in the test group than in the control group. However, the mean diastolic blood pressurewithin one hour, as well as the mean heart rate and anxiety in the two groups, did not differ significantly untilthe tenth minute after the intervention. Discussion: Furthermore, it also decreased the anxiety levels withoutcausing a significant change in the systolic blood pressure and the heart rate of the patients.کلیدواژه ها
