چکیده

Place attachment is one the most important topics concerning coffee shops, for it can significantly improve customer service quality. This study investigates physical factors affecting place attachments in a coffee shop called Lolo in Mashhad, Northeast Iran. We researched several important factors, such as colors, lighting, and opening in the coffee, and investigated how these factors work in a case study. The current research is of applied and qualitative type. It is descriptive-analytical, the first part was done through documentary and library studies, and the second was done through survey and field studies. According to the results of this research, factors such as spatial, human, time, and individual factors are effective in promoting attachment. Physical factors that are effective in attachment can also be divided into several parts: light, color, materials, nature, furniture, and openings. In this research, explanations are provided about them. Examining these cases shows the important role of each of the mentioned cases in increasing the sense of attachment to the place; Lulu coffee shop is one of the coffee shops where the mentioned physical factors are observed, one of the most important physical indicators of creating attachment in the case sample, we can mention the materials, opening, green space, and special attention to natural lighting.
