The study of plant viruses only in terms of pathogenicity has caused scientists to ignore other uses of viruses. In recent years, valuable studies have been done on viruses in the direction of their beneficial use, regardless of their pathogenic phenotype. The most important application of plant viruses is in the field of nanomedicine, which is very effective in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Viruses are used as templates for artificial manipulation of substances such as drugs. The most important advantage of viruses in this case is their size. The structure, size, physical properties of plant viruses have actually turned them into protein templates and nanoscaffolds. If we consider plant viral capsids as molecular containers, there will be three external, internal and intermediate binding sites of protein subunits forming these containers. One of the advantages of the multi-capacity format is the increase in desire and the possibility of possible connections. By using this method, viral cells have been directed towards therapeutic applications and in such a way that by combining antibodies and target peptides with the outer surface of the viral capsid, it is possible to target a specific cell for drug delivery or photography. Plant and bacterial viral nanoparticles are valuable because they are not only biocompatible and degradable, but also non-pathogenic and safe for humans and other mammals. Plant viruses are valuable tools that can be used in targeted drug delivery and the ability to photograph tumors and cancer cells. Today, many drugs are produced and used commercially based on viral nanoparticles.
