Management in supplying residential load with fuel cell power plant (FCPP) connected to grid is the aim of this paper. Economical fuel cell model include is proposedhere. Operational cost, startup cost and different tariffs on electricity during the day hour is discussed. In this paper reformer is used for product hydrogen for FCPP.The tariff for purchasing natural gas is assumed constant. Genetic algorithm (GA) is used to determine optimal operation of FCPP with six-minute change in load pattern. The results are discussed in conclusion
