چکیده

Green roofs, or living roofs, provide numerous environmental, economic, and social benefits.This article explores the advantages of the portable modular method for installing green roofs,which offers faster installation, reduced weight load, easy maintenance, design flexibility, andcost-effectiveness compared to traditional methods. Chekadbam, an Iranian companyspecializing in green roofs, has over ۱۲ years of experience in consulting, designing, andimplementing vertical green spaces. They are the first major domestic producer of modulargreen roofs, walls, terraces, and interior architecture that meet global standards. Chekadbam'sportable modular method allows for swift project implementation, as prefabricated items aremanufactured in their factory and transported to the site. With their expertise and sustainableapproach, Chekadbam offers an affordable solution for urban greening projects by combiningsolar systems with green roof. Terrace Garden and Photovoltaic rooftop systems are bothsustainable solutions for buildings, reducing carbon emissions and improving energyefficiency. While they have different frameworks and applications, it is challenging to determinewhich one is better as both have their advantages. Combining both systems can maximize thepower output of the Photovoltaic system through evaporative cooling and roof vegetation.However, there is a lack of experimental studies on the challenges of adopting thiscombination. This detailed review examines the benefits of green roofs and Photovoltaicsystems, focusing on the advantages of PV vegetated roofs, their impact on energy output,CO۲ emissions reduction, and long-term benefits. The study explores the utility of bio solarterraces in buildings during the operational phase, emphasizing their environmentalsignificance.
