Corona epidemics have global implications for chronic patients, the health-system, and the future of treatment. Among chronic patients, people with cancer are recognized as a vulnerable group to corona due to malignancy and inhibitory treatments. Extensive research on cancer and the factors involved in its pathogenesis and treatment methods has been conducted today, which shows that biological-factors are directly involved in the development of cancer, and at the top of these biological factors are viruses. Among vulnerable people, cancer patients are at higher risk than non-cancer patients because malignancies and cancer-suppressing therapies suppress the immune system.
