Creative writing is one teaching approach that has become more common in recent era. Currently, in Iran, a number of educational settings of English medium are focusing on this trend to teach writing in the intermediate level. Highlighting the key role of writing for EFLLs academic performance in particular and the success of educational systems in general, the current attempt delved into investigating the weightiness and potency of creative writing in language learning. Presently, there is too much attention of instructors on making learners to be creative writers. Assuredly, learners face many hindrances and problems while writing. This study explores the impediments of creative writing which the intermediate level learners constantly face while writing and the usefulness of creative writing for learners. To obtain the data, the researcher will visit EFL learners in Lorestan University majoring in TEFL. Forty EFL learners will be provided with a questionnaire having ۱۵ questions to collect information and data from them. The collected data will reveal that creative writing classes are influential and conducive for learners and they got interested in these kinds of activities to upgrade their learning skills or not. In other words, the findings will illustrate whether learners getting benefit of creative writing classes outperform their counterparts and it affected their writing remarkably or not. On the account, it is claimed that creative writing can be employed as an instructive language-learning tool.
