چکیده

Technology is accelerating toward the future day by day, and this has caused it to leave many undeniable effects in all fields, especially in architecture. Technology along with sustainability in the form of green technology plays an important role in contemporary architecture. Due to the many solutions it offers, technology can help contemporary buildings increase energy efficiency, save and even produce energy and also reduce carbon emissions, all of which ultimately affect our environment. But along with the use of advanced technology, we should not forget the importance of the passive principles that are in harmony with the local architecture as well as the climatic region of the building. This article aims to present the features and benefits of both technologies (low-tech and high-tech), provide recommendations for designing and constructing sustainable architecture, and tell how to achieve a contemporary sustainable building by following both technologies. So that it would be suitable for human needs and be economical and also eco-friendly.
