Perception of Patient Safety Incident Reporting System among Healthcare Workers in Palestinian Government Hospital

چکیده
The aim of the current study was to determine the system perception for reporting patient safety incidents among workers in the field of health care, evaluating the factors affecting it, and working to improve it in Palestinian governmental hospitals. This study used a cross-sectional design and a survey based on a quantitative approach, in which data and information were collected from ۱۰۳ participating healthcare providers (۲۸ physicians and ۷۵ nurses) from four government hospitals. Descriptive statistics were used, and data were examined and entered in SPSS, version ۲۴. The most important conclusion of the study is that the opinion regarding reporting cases is equal for healthcare providers, as there was no significant correlation between the demographic characteristics of healthcare workers and their perception and attitude toward reporting, where there was also no significant correlation between the healthcare providers' perceptions and their attitudes and their participation or non-participation in the reporting system for patient safety incidents.کلیدواژه ها
