A Brief Review of Multi-Factor Authentication Method in ZeroTrust Architecture

The process of digitalization has greatly impacted modern society and one of the crucial elements forsecuring this process is authentication. It encompasses various aspects of a hyper-connected world, suchas online payments, communication, and access control.This study summarizes information about zero trust and its architecture, progress of authentication fromsingle-factor to two-factor and multi-factor, as well as a history of this case.Specifically, multi-factor authentication is predicted to play a major role in human-to-device interactionsby providing quick, convenient, and dependable authentication when accessing services.
