خلاصه مقاله:
Carbon nanotubes are a new type of solid, with two types of structures single-walled and multi-walled (SWCNTs and MWCNTs, respectively). These nanoscale materials have attracted a vast interest because of their unique chemical, mechanical and electronic properties. Their interesting electrochemical properties have led in to explosive research activity in the field of carbon nanotube-based electrochemical sensors in the recent years [1]. Acetaminophen is a common analgesic and antipyretic drug that is used for the relief of fever, headaches and other minor aches and pains. Generally, acetaminophen does not exhibit any harmful side effects but hypersensitivity or overdoses in few cases leads to the formation of some liver and nephrotoxic metabolites. Many assays have been described for acetaminophen including titrimetry, chromatography, fluorometry, colorimetry UV spectrophotometry and various modes of electrochemistry [2].Using a C60-modified glassy carbon electrode [3], Glassy carbon electrode coated with a single-wall carbon nanotube dicetyl phosphate film [4], PANI– MWCNTs modified electrodes [5], and carbon coated nickel modified electrodes [6] and a sodium montmorillonite (NaMM) modified glassy carbon electrode [2] acetaminophen has been determined by voltammetry. In this work, The electrochemical behavior of acetaminophen (AAP) in Britton Robinson buffer solutions (pH = 7) on the glassy carbon (GC) electrodes coated with multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) films was studied using cyclic voltammetry (CV), square-wave voltammetry (SWV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV
