چکیده
Carbon nanotubes have been proved as promising candidates for many technological applications in the nanoscale word and different physical properties have been studied and measured along the few recent years. Single walled carbon nanotubes, SWCNT are used as composite fibers in polymers to improve the mechanical, thermal and electrical properties of the bulk product. The electronic structure of CNTs under electric and magnetic fields are studied based on the single-π band tight-binding calculation [1-5].In this work, Density Functional Theory (DFT) have been used in calculation of transverse electric field effects on the structural and electronic properties of zigzag (4,0) SWCNTکلیدواژه ها
