Biological Standards Survey of Radioactive Materials Concentration in Ilam City Wheat Fields Soil with Gamma Spectrometry

Radionuclide radiation can effect on the human and creature’s health. Currently, soil radioactivity levels of Ilam ‘s wheat champs is not clear. To determine the degree of safety it’s necessary to specify the activity levels of the mentioned environment for persons. HPGe detector for measuring consistency of activities and in soil samples taken from wheat was used in Ilam province. ۲۰ soil samples from Ilam provience from wheat fields were collected during Autumn of ۲۰۰۹, spring ۰f ۲۰۱۰. From each location of an approximately ۱۰×۱۰ ݉ ଶ area,۵ sub samples were collected. The sub sample materials were hipandthigh combined and homogenized. In soil samples, the average activity concentrations of Ra۲۲۶ , Th۲۳۲ , K۴۰ and Cs۱۳۷ were found to be ۲۶.۸۲,۱۳.۷۴,۱۸۹.۲۹,۵.۱۴ Bq. kg-۱ (dry weight), respectively. Absorbed dose rate in air (D) for the areas under investigation at Ilam provience soil samples are ۲۶.۴۹ nGy/h. Hex and Hin in the present work are lower than ۱.
