خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper, manufacturing of Ti۶Al۴V titanium alloy with Selective laser melting andcompare with investment casting, for aviation and aerospace application was studied. Forthis study samples with special dimension from Ti۶Al۴V Titanium alloy by Selectivelaser melting was made and heat treated then mechanical test, microstructure evaluation,x-ray evaluation and density measurement were applied. Results showed animprovement in UTS, YS, %El, respectively from ۸۷۶ MPa, ۸۲۷ MPa and ۶% atinvestment casting samples to ۱۲۸۷ MPa, ۱۲۴۷ MPa and ۱۰% in samples made withselective laser melting (۳D printer). X-ray inspection showed that samples made withSLM free from any gas or shrinkage defects.
