Advances in cancer diagnosis technologies

Although new diagnostic technologies have made it possible to detect tumors, more advanced technologies are required for early detection of cancers before the onset of symptoms, monitoring of disease progression and assessing treatment responses in cancer patients in order to increase the chances of recovery. Here, I discuss recent advances in diagnostic technologies for cancer diagnosis, prognosis and theranosis.
