چکیده مقاله:

The use of new composite materials and structures with optimal mechanical properties along with low weightis one of the issues raised in the industries. In this study, the bending behavior of sandwich structures with aluminumhoneycomb core and three different materials for the face, carbon-epoxy, glass-epoxy, and aluminum have beenanalyzed. To analyze the bending behavior, the finite element method has been done by Abaqus software. Samples weresubjected to three-point bending test based on the ASTM C۳۹۳-۰۰ standard and force-displacement diagrams wereextracted. Also, the maximum-bending force, modulus, and strength were obtained. maximum-force relative to weightfor aluminum, carbon-epoxy, and glass-epoxy obtained ۲۷.۳, ۲۴.۹, and ۲۱.۱ respectively. Finally, the numerical methodin this study was validated. With this finite element method, the results of other research are verified that these resultshad a good agreement. So, the presented model for these sandwich structures can be used and improved.
