چکیده

A new technology called face recognition is used to recognizepeople’s faces based on guaranteed patterns and in most cases reidentifythe faces. Facial recognition is now gaining popularity inmany ways especially for use in security applications. But theprocess of investigating and prosecuting a criminal is very slowand difficult. However, criminals nowadays are getting smarterabout any biological confirmation or fingerprints left at crimescenes. This paper presents a methodology using open-cv andface-net model aimed to designing an application that efficientlyanalyses and identifies features of a human face signatures todetect criminals. The experimental results show good accuracy.For evaluating the experimental result, Different parameterscould affect the results which are images quality, run time anddistance.
