چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aims : In recent years, gender equality in nursing has been considered by researchers. But there is no information about gender equality in the manager's policy makings during the acute phase of the Covid-۱۹ crisis. This study was aimed to explore the nurse's perspective about the gender equality policies during the acute Covid-۱۹ responding phase.Materials and method: This study was a qualitative content analysis study. Participants were nine Covid-۱۹ ward nurses. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews. Sampling started with the purposive method and continued until data saturation. Data analysis was performed by Graneheim and Lundman method. Results: Data analysis was led to emerging of the main theme "gender inequality in the management policies and resources allocation". This theme was derived from four categories "inequality in management", "inequality in Interactions", "inequality in management of available resources" and "inequality in consideration of staff needs".Conclusion: During the care of Covid-۱۹ patients, nurses witnessed gender inequality in policymaking. These inequalities may affect the quality of Covid-۱۹ patients' nursing care. Therefore, it is suggested that gender equality is considered in Covid-۱۹ patient's nursing care policymaking.
