The Effectiveness of Cognitive-Behavioral S tressManagement Therapy on Quality of Life and Sexual Functionof Women of Reproductive Age in Malekshahi

Background: Women are one of the mos t important pillars ofsociety and family and community health depends on ensuringtheir physical and mental health. Was a royal city.Materials and Methods: The present s tudy is a quasi-experimentals tudy with pre-tes t-pos t-tes t and control group. Thes tatis tical population was ۱۰۲ women of childbearing age whohad referred to Health Center No. In Malekshahi in ۱۴۰۰, ofwhich ۴۰ females were selected as the sample size using availablesampling method and observing the inclusion criteria and were randomly divided into two experimental groups (n= ۲۰) and the control group (n = ۲۰). The experimental groupreceived s tress management cognitive-behavioral therapy sessionsfor ۱۰ weekly sessions. Data collection was performedusing a general quality measurement ques tionnaire. The lifeof the World Health Organization (short form) and the SexualFunction Ques tionnaire of (FSFI) were performed. Data analysiswas performed using SPSS software version ۲۶ in two levelsof summer s tatis tics and analysis of covariance.Results: The results showed that the mean scores of quality oflife and sexual function in the experimental group had a significantincrease in the pos t-tes t s tage compared to the controlgroup (P=۰۰۰/.)Conclusion: The results of this s tudy indicate the effectivenessof cognitive-behavioral s tress management therapy in improvingthe quality of life and sexual function of women of childbearingage.
