چکیده مقاله:

Background: We aimed to evaluate the expression of apoptosisrelated miRNA in as thenozoospermic (AS) and normozoospermic(NS) pos t-thawed Hols tein bull semen.Materials and Methods: For evaluation sperm parametersbetween two groups of s tudy, semen samples after collectionprocedure, were diluted and then frozen. After thawing process, semen samples in two groups of s tudy were analyzed by usingCASA sys tem for sperm kinematic and eosin s taining for viability.Three miRNAs related to apoptosis were evaluated withqRT-PCR.Results: Results revealed that the percentage of progressivemotility and viability were significantly higher in NS group(P<۰.۰۵). The curvilinear velocity (VCL), s traight-line velocity(VSL), and average path velocity (VAP), were significantlyhigher in NS group. There were significant differences betweenthe two groups of s tudy regarding miRNA-related expression(miR-۲۹۶-۳p, miR ۴۵۵-۳p, and miR-۳۴۵-۳p).Conclusion: The results of the present s tudy showed in twogroups of s tudy, in mos t of the kinematic parameters and functionalindex, the results and efficiency of normozoospermicgroup was better than as thenozoospermic group. RegardingmiRNA expression associated with apoptosis, some miRNAsuch as miR-۲۹۶-۳p and miR-۳۴۵-۳p were noteworthy correlationwith apoptosis s tatus.
