Take a Look Again at the EFQM: Toward a Developing Generic Model

Performance management of private sector companies to respond entrepreneurship environment challenges is of special importance. Hence one of major questions facing private sector is how and through which rational method of performance management could be investigated and be prepared for competition in internal and international markets. This research aimed at proposing a comprehensive model based on EFQM model for private sector performance management. In this research effective criteria were analyzed by qualitative research strategy. The findings of the research show that in the proposed model three criteria: leadership, strategic planning and organizational culture were of higher priority in private sector performance management.
